Proscenic P11 Cordless Mop & Vacuum

If you are looking for a fast way to clean up tiled and wooden floors then the combined P11 cordless mop and vacuum from Proscenic could be just the job for you.

Although I was expecting something a little more high-tech from this multi-tasking appliance, the removable water tank with mop head which clips onto the rear of the vacuum does an excellent job at cleaning floors, trailing along behind the vacuum head which collects dust and particles first.

Hi and welcome back to my channel. Now, if you’ve got wooden or tiled floors and you want a way of vacuuming and mopping them at the same time, then this video is for you.

The P11 is a combined cordless mop and vacuum from Proscenic. It’s a great time saver, lightweight and highly manoeuvrable. So let me talk you through some of its features.

So just quickly before I get into this review, this vacuum was gifted to me by the manufacturers, but they have no say over what I put in the video and I’m not paid to make it.

So the P11 was delivered in a quite small, plain looking box and inside were loads of different parts and tools, including the wall mount, spare HEPA filter, and several attachments. Obviously, we had to buy build the vacuum as well from its parts.

We’re actually in the middle of a small building project in our house, so there couldn’t really have been a better time to test it out, as I have had a daily dose of dust to clean up on our hard floors and I found the P11 incredibly convenient
to use, and the vacuum head is particularly good at pivoting really easily and getting into all the corners.

Now I have to confess, I expected this multi-functioning mop and vacuum to be quite a high tech gadget, so I was initially a little bit disappointed when I realized that the mop part of the vacuum is literally just a water reservoir that clips onto the base of the vacuum and then slowly dribbles water onto the floor behind the suction head.

But don’t let that put you off, because it’s still a method that works really well, and it’s really quick and efficient way of cleaning the floor. To use the mop, you fill the 340 ml water tank and when I do this, I like to add a small squirt of washing-up liquid too. That’s not in the instruction booklet.

Dampen the removable mop pad and then click the wheels of the vacuum into the mop attachment and when you turn the vacuum on it then sucks up the debris on the floor first and the mop head follows behind with water dripping from
the reservoir onto the mop pad via three small valves.

After you finish cleaning the floor you have to remove the mop head and drain any leftover liquid. Otherwise the head will continue to drip onto the floor with water wherever you leave it.

Turning the vacuum on and off is done via a trigger-style button at the top of the vacuum shaft, and you can monitor the battery charge and alter suction power between the three gears via a large touchscreen display at the top of the P11. But let’s talk about that suction power because it’s kind of important when it comes to vacuum cleaners.

It is pretty Quoted as 35 kpa. Now, I won’t go too deep into explaining that measurement. That is on the high side for a vacuum, particularly for a cordless one, but there are other channels that go deep into kpa.

My Henry vacuum is 22 and a half kpa, so I decided to test the two out side by side on some coffee grounds, and the Proscenic was the winner and we’ve been very happy with its suction performance around the house on carpets and wooden floors as well as obviously the tiled floor.

Now this vacuum is also great if you’re tall, which is a big thing in our house. I’m five foot eight and my husband is six
foot four. The shaft of the vacuum is extendable and can be stretched out by an extra 24 centimeters, making it a comfortable height for most people to operate, which isn’t always a given.

The brush in the vacuum head can be removed easily for cleaning. When you get things tangled around it, you
just press a button on the side and then pull it out and you can slot it back in easily too.

There’s also a duster brush and a crevice tool supplied with it. One of the neat features is you can also detach the top of the vacuum from the shaft and use the P11 as a hand vac, although of course it is on the heavier side for a handheld vacuum.

The inbuilt bin on the shaft is 650 ml capacity and can be detached from the main frame to be emptied and the cylinder is It’s sufficiently large that you can get your fingers around the sides to pull out the bits that get trapped, which has been a problem with previous cordless vacuums that I have owned.

The P11 also has a five layer filtration system with a washable HEPA filter that manufacturers advise in the instruction booklet that this should be washed every week. But that’s never going to happen in my house. If you have the space to fix it, there’s also a wall mount which has an inbuilt attachment holder. We just can’t find anywhere close to a power socket to put it up in our house at the moment.

If you’re concerned about whether this vacuum is noisy, it’s not really. Noise level when it’s running is 78 decibels,
which is about typical for this kind of appliance, with quoted figures for similar stick vacuums from other brands at between 70 and 80 dB.

The battery on the P11 will last for 50 minutes on the lowest power, or approximately 30 seconds for every remaining percentage on the display. Of course, it gobbles it up much faster if you crank up the power.

Charging time is four to five hours, and the battery is removable for charging. In theory, this also means that you can buy
a spare, but I can’t see anywhere, including third-party sellers, who are selling them yet.

The vacuum also comes with an LED light at the front of the head, making it easy to see the dirt you’re picking up in dark corners. So here’s what I like about the P11. At 2.3 kilograms, this vacuum is incredibly lightweight. It’s also really easy to maneuver around obstacles, and it can easily be adjusted to accommodate most heights. It’s got a decent size bin and good battery life and I like the fact that it can be converted into a handvac, although only time will tell how often I actually use that.

And here’s what’s not so good about it, although I have to say it’s a limited list. Having to remove And drain the mop head is a little bit of a pain. And there’s nowhere on the wall mount to store the empty mop head when you aren’t using it. It’s a small detail, but there’s nothing on the battery charger to indicate that it belongs to the vacuum, it doesn’t even say Proscenic on it. So I’ve had to add my own label so I don’t forget which appliance it belongs to and I’d also like to see Proscenic offering the option to let you buy a spare battery so you don’t have to wait five hours between
charges.

But overall, we’ve been really impressed by this vacuum. Proscenic may not be one of the best recognised
names in the market, despite the fact they’ve been in business for 11 years, but they definitely shouldn’t be overlooked. We previously owned an AEG cordless vacuum, and this Proscenic is leagues ahead of it in almost all areas and it’s already getting an Awful lot of use in our house.
